Christmas Eve

Christmas eve and the second of the Christmas parties. It was meant to be hosted at my house, but with a slight seating problem as well as the fact that Sharon and I were leaving for Mozambique the next morning, we decided to have it at my mom’s house. This did come with the benefits of a dart board which provided a lot of entertainment for the evening.

Sharon and I cooked a turkey on the Weber as well as some roasted sweet potatoes in sweet chilli sauce, while my mom made a gammon and some other vegetables  The meal, and the company, were fantastic. Everything went well although things did get a bit out of hand when the dinner table accidental caught alight. But then, this is all part of the fun, isn’t it?

Sadly there’s not too much more to report since we had to leave early to be ready for our trip the next day. Mozambique baby!!
