Beach To Berg

After the heavy snows that preceded Woman’s Day a good friend of mine, Steve, took to the sky in order to re-take the famous “Beach to Berg” photo. This image was originally made famous by the late John Hone who sadly passed away recently.

Steve’s new image was taken with the permission of, and in memory of, John who was happy to see it replaced with a modern version including the new stadium.

I was lucky (and privileged) enough to be heavily involved in the processing of this image for print.
